Hi Maestro Ralph,
Inever did have the chance to personally thank you as I did Derrick and the crew for the outsatanding work you did for me as producer of the Bobby Jones Concerts that you did in Akron Ohio. I home made a video and I often replay the performances. It's really amazing how you took such a small keyboard and made such grandioso sounds, even at tim es a Hammond B3. I hyave been ill for a while and not doing any events lately but I am recovering now . I was contemplating on trying to arrange another appearance for you in this area , but I looked and your previous gigs and saw that you are very still busy with some dynamite
dates. I really admire the work of you and Derrick Lee . I would like to know if and when you would you be appearing in the near vivinity of Akron Ohio, if this is in the mix, drop a line and I'll attend the session, whatever
Genre. I would like to cop a copy of you and your wife's work also.

It is truly an honor. I have been a fan of yours long before I knew just who you were.A few years ago' I had the pleasure of hearing you on the radio."Is Your All on the Alter," And it was on. I had to find out who was that making the organ talk like that. After a few days of searching. Thank you Jesus, I found out it was you. For me it's all about Quite Times Vol.1. The entire cd is amazing.I have replaced it 3 or 4 times. I played at home in the car. When I drive long distances that cd really keeps me calm. I have always loved organ & piano music. Then I read some of the cd covers from Albertina Walker ,Dorothy Norwood, The Williams Bros to name a few. Come to find out I've been listening to you for quite some time.(Years) May God keep blessing you in your ministry.Michael Jordan See you in the music

Ralph, I can't believe it! The cleaning lady on my floor was talking about a CD that so inspired her and then she mentioned the name "Ralph Lofton". Not Ralph, Deborah's brother and Mrs. Sarah's son, I said. I don't know 'bout that, she said, I just know that he can play some organ! I grew up three doors down from you and I remember you coming back to visit your mom while I was still playing in the dirt! My mom had all of the girls in the third apt. from the street - 940 C. Hope to see you when I go to the Aretha Franklin concert. God is GOOD!

Hey Ralph,
I am obedient if nothing else. As I said on my space, I love your music. The obvious commitment and life that go along with it are refreshing; especially in a Gospel Musician, I'm sad to say. It could be that I've been mostly exposed to all the wrong musicians, but those of us who profess (or obcess)are often less friendly than those who don't claim to love the Lord the way we do. Of all the musicians I have known before I came to My Space, only my boy Ronald Jackson on the East Coast and Gilbert Salter in Florida are willing and even insistant in some cases, to share experiences, music, life and love.
You seem to be the real deal too. I love music almost as much as I love the Lord. And your music speaks to me.
I really do hope we can get to know each other, even if we never sit at keyboards together. I am not a great keyboardist by any stretch of the imagination, but I claim, strive to, and always try to play with the annointing. Whether it's Precious Lord or Stormy Monday. All music belongs to my Father! It's just those of us who corrupt the lyrics that mess up the flow.
No preaching here though, really. I won't be this 'soap boxy' in the future. I just wanted you to know where I'm coming from and that I really enjoy your music.

Your music is very inspiring to me. So much so that I too have been inspired to pursue Gospel Jazz. I want to network with people who too are in the field. I realize that the field of gospel jazz is a small field, and I feel that I have a calling toward it. Id like some advice from a seasoned professional. Thanks, and be blessed.

Hello Mr. Lofton,
I just stopped by to say hello to a fellow Memphian and musician. I have been a fan of yours for quit quit some time now. I even remember you on the early eposodes of the Bobby Jones show in the 80's. I watched it every Sunday before going to Church. I think that I may have met you only once but you have been a great inspiration from a distance. I think almost every musician (or organist)in Memphis studied you and Derrick Jackson at one time or another, and i was one of them. Thanks for being a great inspiration. I am also good friends of your sons Deon Reshawn. We all came up together in music ministry. I was with the Orange Mound Community Choir and they were with the Voices for Christ Min. They are also phenominal gifts as well. I guess they are regular chips off the old block. I now reside in Chicago Il, where i am currently the Asst. Pastor @ Victory Cathedral Worship Center where Smokie Norful is the Pastor.I began as his music director then became his road manager for a number of years and now have become his Asst. Pastor. I also played organ on his cd entitled Nothing Without You and on the dvd to that same album which he recorded live in Nasville @ Rocket Town. Hope i made you proud. Just wanted to take a little time to say thanks again. Continue the good work for the Lord and God Bless!

Dear Ralph,
I met you on the Bishop T. D. Jakes Doing Business in Deep Waters Cruise to Alaska last Wednesday night in Sitka, Alaska. You autographed my CD, "I Tell You Yes." I was actually a Blue Badge Group member, and heard the first set, but enjoyed it so much that I snuck back in for the second set just to hear you again, and to get your autograph. I mentioned at that time that I had played the organ in my father's church. You told me that I was going to love the CD, which I do. I especially like your "personalized introduction to the listening audience." I also particularly like the first two songs and the theme song, #7, "I Tell You Yes." I loved your bald head bobbing to every note that Kirk Whalum was blowing on that saxophone. I was bobbing right with you. I will tell you a little secret. Of all of the events (and there were many on that 7-day cruise), I enjoyed our brief encounter the most--probably because of that "organ connection." I will stay tuned to your itinerary. When you come to Cleveland, Ohio, or close by, I will be on the front row. I live in Cleveland, Ohio, and teach nursing at Case Western Reserve University. I will remain a fan of yours for life. Thank God for you, your great talent, and your sincerity for God.

Anyway, I just wanted to say hello.

Stay encouraged to be the best and to never give up on your dreams. The project is great!!!!!!!! I know that you poured your heart and soul into it. Now that you have taken your life and this project and placed it in God's hands, sit back and watch the miracles that He will perform. May the freshness of God's spirit overtake you.

I had the pleasure of meeting this great musician in 1990 and his musicianship just blew me away. I thank God that he brought us together through our musical talents to stand on the front line of this spiritual warfare and declare that he is Lord.I pray that this project touches the heart of man to ask what must I do to be saved in Jesus name amen.

Hey Bro!
I'm duly impressed - LOVE THE SITE! Ain't the Lord somethin! I wasn't able to go on to CD Baby and buy it though (tried to surprise you) for some reason they didn't have it listed. Be praying for B.Westbrook-Smith, Leukemia. I love you - didn't know your son played! Hey Ceesha :)

Ralph, my email was down, will send pictures soon. The music is great as usual. The more seasoning you have the better it taste. God is still using you as a vessel as he always has done. Don't stop now!!

Hello Mr. Lofton---Once again you have come to amaze me with your wonderful gift from GOD. The CD "I Tell You Yes" is wonderful(well the parts that I have heard). Since my father will not allow me to listen to the enitre project until I buy the CD. I already advised my father that I SHALL be the FIRST to buy when it comes out on MARCH 28 2005 at htttp://www.cdbaby.com . I can not wait. The title song is great; Ms.Ceesha, you did a great job on singing, not just on "I Tell You Yes" but also on "I Just Wanna Praise You". I advised my father when I do my project that I would love for you to sing with me. Mr. Lofton your voice on (I think) "Jesus Paid It All" was amazing. Your music is so wonderful words can not express how the sound of your music make me feel closer to GOD. Thank You Mr. Lofton for allowing Christians to hear your Gift and maybe Non-Christians can come to GOD by hearing your Gift. Believing In GOD's Blessing...Jasmine (TootJas)

Ralph - God has set out to have you bless His people with your special brand of gospel music. I am so proud of you and wish you nothing but the best. You are the true meaning of "minister of music". Congratulations on the new solo project. With the likes of my buddy Kirk Whalum on this cd, it is destined to be one of your best works to date. Keep doing what you are doing and stay true to who you are and to who God has made you to be. I will see you soon my friend........Tony :-)
